A New Smart Phone App That Might Eliminate the Need for Reading Glasses
A while back I read this article in the Wall Street Journal. Here’s another article about it if you don’t have a WSJ account. It’s about a new iPhone & Android app called Glasses Off that can help you read and reduce the need for reading glasses. It looks interesting! As you can see, the app is basically a game that works by helping your brain learn how to better interpret blurred images. As it happens, if you read the full article, I happen to know both Dean Levy, from my alma mater UC Berkeley, and later in the article, Jame Salz, who I used to work with is also quoted.
If anyone wants to try it, please go ahead and let me know if it works for you. It takes some practice to get the eyes used to working this way. So, let me know how it works for you.
